posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
A new summer program at Black Bayou Lake National Wildlife Refuge will be offered for boys and girls in the fourth, fifth and sixth grades beginning June 10.

From 8:30-11 a.m., June 10, boys and girls will be able to discover more about fish, reptiles and amphibians in the summer program.

The fun will include: fishing; creating fish prints on T-shirts (each participant should bring an undecorated, solid color T-shirt); experiencing hands-on learning about snakes, turtles, alligators and lizards; dipping tadpoles from a pond and finding out what kind of frog they will become; and more.
