Ouachita Parish police juror Mack Calhoun says he will continue to fight for District B to get its share of $140,000 in LGAP funding the parish recently received from the state.

Earlier this month, the parish learned it would receive $140,000 in LGAP funding for various projects in the parish.

Calhoun applied for $33,000 for a backup generator for the Cadeville Water District in western Ouachita Parish. However, that project only received some $6,000 in LGAP funding, which is well short of the amount needed to buy a backup generator.
