Bruscato garners Alexander's 'Hero Award'

U.S. Rep. Rodney Alexander joined local citizens and officials with St. Francis Medical Center Monday to honor a woman who many call an angel.

Alexander, R-Quitman, presented Angie Bruscato, a member of St. Francis Medical Center's Auxiliary, with his Hometown Hero award for the month of May.

The award was presented to Bruscato at the hospital during a special ceremony held in her honor. She was given an American flag with a certificate of authenticity that certified the flag was flown over the nation's capitol.
