Acting for President Fred Huenefeld, Treasurer Don Hereford brought to order the recent meeting of Benjamin Tennille Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution in the banquet room of the Chateau Restaurant with a prayer by Rev. Jim Padgett.

All attending recited the Pledge of Allegiance and the S.A.R. pledge to uphold the U.S. Constitution.

Attendees of this meeting absorbed a poignant assessment of the status of education in Louisiana from the Louisiana State Board Elementary & Secondary Education President Keith Guice.
