LSU 'Tiger Tour ' roars through Monroe
The Louisiana State University TAF Tiger Tour roared through the Monroe Civic Center conference center on Tuesday with a spectacular event that gave local alumni and fans a chance to meet some of the most recognizable personalities from Baton Rouge.
LSU head football coach Les Miles was the featured speaker for the event and Chancellor Michael Martin as well as Athletic Director Joe Alleva also addressed the crowd of nearly 300 people.
Alleva lauded the athletic department's progress and showed a video of the renovated athletic academic center that once served as the basketball arena years ago.
