Bellator offers ticket deal
The eyes of the caged world of MMA will be on Monroe tonight as Bellator Fighting Championships stages Bellator 18 at the Monroe Civic Center Arena at 6 p.m.
The main event portion of the card, which begins at 7 p.m., will be shown live across the nation on Fox Sports Net.
The featherweight semi-finals of the BFC championship tournament as well as a MMA non-title superfight featuring BFC middleweight champion Hector Lombard and Jay Silva headline the main card.
Paulo Filho was originally scheduled to face Lombard, but dropped out of the bout Wednesday after being denied a visa to travel from Brazil.
NBC and spanish channel Telemundo will show highlights on Saturday night, making the event available to 256 million homes.
