The Ouachita Lions put up another valiant fight against one of the state's elite Class 5A baseball teams only to see their season come to an end after a 4-0 loss to the No. 4 Dutchtown Griffins.

A long bus ride to Baton Rouge may not have affected the Lions on the field, but the Griffins' stellar defense made things difficult nonetheless.

Junior pitcher Jacob Williams of Dutchtown was sensational for the Griffins. Williams threw a five-hit complete game shutout against the No. 29 Ouachita squad.
