The boys and girls track and field teams at Ouachita Christian School recently completed a clean sweep of the Class 1A regional track meet team titles.

On the boys side, OCS scored 105 team points to edge the 102 points scored by Haynesville High School. On the girls side, OCS won their third consecutive Region I title with 147 team points ahead of the 74 scored by Cedar Creek School of Ruston.

Ashton Chowns dominated the track events with first-place wins in the 800-meter, 1600-meter and 3200-meter races. Morgan Chelette won the 100-meter hurdles for OCS while Cammie Green won first place in the girls pole vault and triple-jump events.
