Calhoun takes issue with LGAP funding
One Ouachita Parish police juror is not happy with how the state divvied up some $140,000 in LGAP grant funding for projects in Ouachita Parish.
Juror Mack Calhoun had requested roughly $33,000 for a backup generator for the Cadeville Water District in western Ouachita Parish.
However, the state only awarded some $6,000 to purchase a new generator, which is well short of the amount needed for it, Calhoun said.
