ULM appoints Blaylock as interim pharmacy dean
Dr. Benny Blaylock has been appointed interim dean of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
The University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors approved his new position in late April. A national search for a permanent dean will begin in the fall.
ULM made the announcement Tuesday in a prepared press release sent to local media.
Blaylock's appointment comes several weeks after Pharmacy Dean Greg Leader was found dead in a Vicksburg hotel.
