Chiefs, Tigers begin 4A playoff mission

The West Ouachita Chiefs, ranked No. 3 in Class 4A this week, won their 11th consecutive contest on Monday night by defeating the Bastrop Rams 2-0. The win means WOHS finishes the 2010 season with a 14-1 district 3-4A record and are 2010 league champions in 3-4A.

The Chiefs are also expected to be the No. 3-seed in the Louisiana High School Athletic Association Class 4A playoff starting this week.

The Chiefs have a power point total of 24.85 while No. 1 Tioga High School has a total of 25.34 and No. 2 Haughton comes in with a 25.03 point total this week.
