LSU, Ole Miss rained out; Doubleheader scheduled Saturday

OXFORD, Miss. - The scheduled baseball game between LSU and Ole Miss Friday night at Swayze Field was postponed due to severe weather in the Oxford area.

The teams are now scheduled to play a doubleheader beginning at 3 p.m. CT Saturday. The first game Saturday is scheduled to be televised by Fox Sports Net; the second game will not be televised.

Both games of the doubleheader can be heard on the LSU Sports Radio Network. Live audio and stats are available at www.LSUsports.net.

Junior right-hander Anthony Ranaudo (2-0, 3.00 ERA) will start Game 1 for LSU on Saturday against Ole Miss junior southpaw Drew Pomeranz (6-0, 1.38 ERA).

Sophomore right-hander Joey Bourgeois (4-1, 6.23 ERA) will start Game 2 for the Tigers while Ole Miss will counter with senior right-hander Aaron Barrett (6-2, 3.07 ERA).
