Sterlington keeps rolling

The Sterlington Panthers (13-14, 5-1 district 2-2A) will play their final pair of regular season home games 3 p.m. Saturday when they host the Delhi Charter Gators of Class 1A.

Sterlington will host St. Frederick at 6 p.m. Monday night to conclude the regular season schedule. The Panthers have won six of their last nine games, including two district contests last week against Mangham and Farmerville.

The Panthers have outscored their last two district opponents by a combined 14-2. The Sterlington pitching staff has pitched a pair of shutouts in the last four outings including this past Monday against the Mangham Dragons.
