The Claiborne Christian School Crusaders (11-12) will be back in district action on Friday when they host Kilbourne High School at 4 p.m.

CCS is coming off one of their biggest wins of the season when they downed Class 1A playoff contender St. Frederick High School last week, 5-3.

Jake Bell, Forest Spillers, Kyle Osbon, Taylor Moore, Kip Robinson, and Jesse Butler lead Claiborne Christian at the plate.

CCS is currently ranked as the top-seed in the LHSAA Class C power rankings. the rankings will be used to determine playoff seeding and the Crusaders are expected to win a third straight district crown and earn a first-round bye in the upcoming Class C playoffs. The regular season ends next Monday.
