OPSO to offer CSI summer camps for youth

Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office will again offer a two-day summer Crime Scene Investigation camp for local youth.

For the past three summers, the sheriff's office, along with Monroe Police Department and West Monroe Police Department, facilitated a one-week cadet academy for local youth.

Last year, Ouachita Parish Sheriff Royce Toney wanted to do something extra for local youth who had shown an interest in learning about police investigation, according to OPSO's Marky Tucker.
