Sports fans in northern Louisiana, Arkansas and Texas looking for a sneak preview of the upcoming Bellator Fighting Championships event at the Monroe Civic Center on May 13 can tune in to FOX Sports Southwest on each of the next four Thursday nights.

The network will air four LIVE Bellator events from Chicago, Connecticut, Kansas City and Boston over the next four Thursday nights beginning at 7 p.m. In addition, special action-packed Bellator highlight shows can be seen every Saturday night on NBC, Telemundo and mun2.

The May 13 Bellator event in Monroe will also be broadcast on all three networks, reaching an available universe of 300 million homes across the U.S. every week.

"Bellator is producing some of the finest mixed martial arts programming in the world right now and in just one month they'll be bringing their nationally televised show right here to Monroe," said Kerry Daigle of Keep Punching Entertainment, the local promoter for Bellator's Monroe Civic Center show. "I encourage every sports fan—and everyone who loves compelling TV—to check out Bellator's shows on FOX Sports Southwest, NBC, Telemundo and mun2 over the coming weeks. You won't be disappointed."

The main event for Bellator's May 13 Monroe show will be a "Super Fight" match-up between reigning Bellator Middleweight Champion Hector Lombard and 19-1 former WEC Middleweight Champion Paulo Filho, who, as recently as 14 months ago, was the No. 2-ranked middleweight in the world.

The fight card for the May 13 event will also include two semifinal matches in Bellator's world championship tournaments as well as four local feature fights.

Tickets are available at ticketmaster.com and at the Monroe Civic Center box office.
