CCS moves up in class rankings
The Claiborne Christian School Crusaders (9-12) will be back in action at 6 p.m. today when they visit the Mangham Dragons of Class 2A.
The Crusaders are currently ranked second in the most recent Louisiana Baseball Coaches Association Polls. The Crusaders have won six of their last seven contests overall with the lone loss of the last two weeks coming in a 6-3 defeat at the hands of Class 1A's top-ranked squad, the Çedar Creek School Cougars.
In that game, the Crusaders jumped out to a 3-0 lead before the Cougars scored six late runs to take the victory.
