The Neville Tigers (12-15) will begin a district 3-4A series with the Bastrop Rams today at 6 p.m. in Bastrop.

The Tigers are coming off a series victory over another district rival, the Franklin Parish Patriots, in which the Tigers beat the Patriots in two-of-three meetings.

The Tigers dominated the first game by a score of 19-9 before clawing out a one-run win in the first game of a Saturday double-header, 5-4. Franklin Parish won the second game on Saturday to avoid the three-game sweep, 2-1.
