OPSO delinquent tax notices in this week's Citizen
posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
Ouachita Parish Sheriff and Tax Collector Royce Toney is advertising delinquent 2009 Ad Valorem Taxes for properties in this week's edition of The Ouachita Citizen.

The list includes names of delinquent taxpayers who have been sent certified mail notices that the 2009 Ouachita Parish ad valorem taxes have not been paid.

It also includes unknown owners and non-resident owners whose post office address is unknown or whose mail has been returned unclaimed and/or undelivered.

Since January 1, 2010, interest has been accruing at 1% per month on all delinquent accounts.

Payment of taxes, interest and costs should be made to Ouachita Parish Tax Collector, P.O. Box 1803, Monroe, LA 71210-1803, within fifteen (15) days so that properties will not be sold according to law.

You may call the Tax Collector's Office (329-1280) to verify the correct amount due.
