City to use stimulus money at WOSC
The city of West Monroe is set to use $445,000 in federal stimulus money to make improvements at the West Ouachita Senior Center.
During Tuesday night's regular board of aldermen meeting, aldermen agreed to advertise for bids in the city's official journal, The Ouachita Citizen, for a new senior center vehicle garage, covered walkways and additional parking.
Golson Architecture of West Monroe has drawn up the proposed site additions for the city, and presented them to aldermen Tuesday.
