Crusaders begin district 2-C play
by Cody Futrell - posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
The Claiborne Christian School Crusaders (5-11) will be back in action with a full slate of games this weekend.

The Crusaders begin the busy week with a home contest against Spearsville High School at 4 p.m. The district contest will be just the second district game of the season for the Crusaders who have won three games in a row. Claiborne Christian School will then hit the road to face the Rayville Hornets of Class 3A on Saturday at 2 p.m. The Crusaders and Hornets will play a pair of games on Saturday at Hornet Stadium.

Last Saturday, the Crusaders picked up huge power point help for the playoff seeding process as they swept a pair of games from Class 2A foe Farmerville. The Crusaders rallied past Farmerville in a defensive struggle during game one, 1-0.
