3-4A teams battle
by Cody Futrell - posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
Tonight begins a busy week of softball action for district 3-4A teams in the area. The West Ouachita Lady Chiefs (20-5) will be back in action at 6 p.m. tonight when they host the Bastrop Lady Rams (13-11-1).

This is the second and final game of the regular season series between the two squads. West Ouachita dismantled Bastrop 10-0 in their previous meeting on March 23 to claim the district 3-4A title outright.

West Ouachita comes into the game on a four-game winning streak after beating Evangel Christian Academy 2-1 on Monday and Franklin Parish High School on Tuesday, 9-0, to keep the streak alive.
