Golf classic nears
Local golfers are invited to sign-up now for the sixth annual "Unforgettable Golf Classic to be held on May 7, 2010 at Black Bear Country Club in Delhi.
The funds raised by the event will benefit the Alzheimer's Association in their mission which includes research, advocacy, care-giving, support, education, and awareness of the disease.
The event is a two-man scramble and each team can enter for $160 or $80 per golfer. Anyone who signs up as an individual will be assigned to a team.
In 2007, Golf Digest named Black Bear Golf Club one of America's best new courses.
Registration on the day of the event will begin at 11 a.m. followed by a catered lunch at 11:30 a.m.
The golf portion of the one day event will begin at 1 p.m. and the winners will be announced at 5:30 p.m. during a ceremony at Black Bear Country Club. |
