Look no further than Easter morning
 Most of us are more than familiar with Matthew's account of Jesus' resurrection. We can all but see and hear the women who make their way to the tomb early on that first Easter morning. As best we can, we try to imagine their grief for someone they loved and respected. They simply want to show their respect to a friend who died a brutal death. They were expected nothing more — nothing less.
When someone proclaims that God will not/cannot work unless our faith is up to par, we need look no further than Easter morning to realize that God is stronger than our weaknesses and is more powerful than our hopelessness.
Some believe that God gives a disappointing nod towards our doubts and limited understanding. They proclaim that if our love for God were stronger we would not experience such limitations. And, according to the old man on the park bench, if a frog had wings he could fly.
