Section of road to be closed April 12 through May 11

West Monroe motorists will be asked to detour for several weeks as work continues to provide turning lanes at Downing Pines Road and U.S. 80.

The project is expected to improve traffic flow in that area, West Monroe Mayor Dave Norris said.

From April 12 to May 11, Downing Pines Road will be closed to through traffic between the Interstate 20 westbound entrance and exit ramps and U.S. 80.
