Glenwood Regional Medical Center will hold a ribbon cutting and open house for the Glenwood Hyperbaric and Wound Care Center at 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 6.

The facility is located at the Glenwood Medical Mall, 102 Thomas Road in West Monroe. The center has a covered entrance (#3), located at the back of the medical mall facing Cypress Street.

The Glenwood Hyperbaric and Wound Care Center is staffed by physicians and registered nurses who are trained in wound management and hyperbaric medicine and serves as a resource for the treatment of patients with chronic, non-healing or difficult wounds.

The center is equipped with two hyperbaric chambers used for oxygen therapy to treat non-healing and difficult wounds.
