20th annual symposium April 19-20 The Biedenharn Museum & Gardens invites the public to the 20th Annual Garden Symposium set for Monday, April 19 at 6 p.m. and Tuesday, April 20 at 9 a.m. This year's guest speakers are Norman Kent Johnson, Dr. Neil Odenwald and Kevin Coble.
Monroe native Norman Kent Johnson will be a guest lecturer and share his varied knowledge with guests. His Monday evening session is entitled "A Whole Lot of Not Much: My Return to Modernism" and his Tuesday session is entitled "What's in Bloom Today."
Dr. Neil Odenwald will give a lecture on "The Elements and Principles of Landscape Design." This year's guest floral designer is Kevin Coble, owner of LeFleur Florist in Memphis, Tenn. He is sure to create spectacular floral arrangements for guests to enjoy.

Tickets are $15 for Monday evening only, $50 for Tuesday only or $55 for the full Symposium. Breakfast and lunch will be served on Tuesday.
