I don't know the author, but this article from Bulletin Digest makes a very interesting point.

 ATHEISTS HAVE THEIR DAY!

Several years ago in a courtroom in Florida, an atheist lawyer was asking the judge to do away with all religious holidays.  He said, Christians have Christmas and Easter.  The Jew have Yom Kippur and Hanukkah.  We, as atheists, do not have a special day and therefore that is discriminatory and unconstitutional.  After hearing the case presented by the atheist lawyer, the judge pounded the gavel and said, case dismissed. The lawyer immediately protested.  He argued, Judge you are not being open-minded and fair with the evidence.
