In our Mark and Kent Anderson, Patrick Anderson, Randy Ewing, the late Elton Upshaw, and Spec Lewis family, we say that our grandchildren have a "highly suspect "gene pool."

At Harvard, the research in the Jensen Study, which has been replicated numerous times and never refuted, support this 75/25 ratio of genes first and then environment. 

From our Monroe-West Monroe area, we have some current exciting things happening in the third generation of children supporting the athletic excellence part of the gene theory.
