The 17th annual Junior/Senior Juried Art Exhibition is currently on display in the University of Louisiana-Monroe Bry Art Gallery.

Twelve entries from West Ouachita High School are on display.
The show runs through April 15.

More than 130 total art work entries were submitted from 13 different high schools.
The exhibit accepted 42 from nine schools represented in the show.

Artists selected from West Ouachita High School, according to art teacher Michele Olinde, were:

• Ashley Sellers — two mixed media drawings and one digital.
• Jessica Pickett —mixed media drawing.
• Malynda Tyson — two mixed media drawings and a cash award of special recognition.
• Fletcher Marsh — charcoal drawing.
• Larra Conville — digital work.
• Callie Zuber — one digital and one mixed media drawing.
• Victoria Nowell — one mixed media drawing, and one mixed media painting. Nowell received an art scholarship, cash award of special recognition and the People's Choice Cash Award.

Olinde said the professors at ULM complimented the quality of the school's entries into the show this year.
