St. Fred faces Cedar Creek

The St. Frederick Warriors (3-9) will continue their district 2-1A series with the Cedar Creek Cougars (9-2) on Thursday at 6 p.m. in Ruston.

The Warriors were pounded by the Cougars on Monday to open the series, 12-1. Cedar Creek is on a four-game winning streak including wins over Oak Grove, Farmerville and St. Mary.

The Cougars have averaged a whopping 13.5 runs per game over the last week of the season.
