Eagles, Bears renew series

The Ouachita Christian School Eagles (9-5) will continue a district 2-1A series against Delhi on Friday when they host the Bears at 6 p.m. The series will conclude Saturday at noon in Monroe. OCS took the first game of the series on Monday night with a 12-0 win over the Bears.

Cade Lawhon (1-0) picked up his first win of the season as he pitched two straight scoreless innings for the Eagles. Lawhon struck out three Delhi batters and issued just a single walk during the game.

Ricky Johnson entered in the third and pitched three scoreless innings to earn his second save of the season. Lawhon and Johnson gave up one hit each.
