Thrower named Junior Miss
Alexandra Nicole Thrower won the title of Ouachita's Junior Miss for 2011 on March 13, 2010 at Neville High School.
The panel of judges also named her a preliminary winner in talent and scholastic achievement categories of competition. The daughter of Bob and Michelle Thrower, Alex is a junior at West Ouachita High School .
Sarah Mouk of West Monroe High School was named first runner-up and Alayna Rutledge of West Monroe High School was named second runner-up. Other awards presented were as follows:
