The Ouachita Christian School Eagles (5-4) will put their top-ranking in Class 1A on the line again Monday night when they visit the Delhi Bears at 6 p.m. to begin district 2-1A competition.

The Eagles are coming off a 10-0 win in the Trey Altick Memorial Tournament on Saturday. OCS went 3-1 in the tournament and is averaging 5.88 runs per game this season. The OCS offense has been on fire during the month of March. The Eagles have scored 10 or more runs in three games this month, including a 10-0 victory over defending Class C state champion Claiborne Christian School during the tournament last week. The lone loss of the tournament for the Eagles was to the No. 2 team in Class 2A, St. Charles Catholic. St Charles downed OCS 4-3 on Friday night.

Creighton Jones leads OCS at the plate with a .409 batting average. Jones has three doubles and eight RBIs this season.
