ICE unit nabs 600 lbs. of pot
Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office officials arrested a Texas man Sunday for possession of approximately 600 pounds of marijuana.
Deputies arrested Tyrone Dixon, 52, 4203 Brookhead Trail, Houston, Texas, for possession and intent to distribute marijuana.
On Sunday, Ouachita Parish sheriff's deputy John Dupree observed a truck driving erratically on Interstate 20 near Camp Road in Calhoun. Dupree stopped the vehicle and located the 600 pounds of marijuana hidden in a concealed compartment of Dixon's truck.
