Parish sets sights on litter cleanup

The 2010 Great American Cleanup will take place throughout Ouachita Parish Saturday, March 27.

The cleanup will be held 9 a.m.-noon.

Volunteers are needed to help pick up litter, clean up graffiti, plant flowers, shrubs and trees.
Registration will be held at Monroe City Hall at 9 a.m. March 27.

Groups will then go out to their designated areas for clean-up and beautification efforts before returning to city hall around noon for lunch.
