The University of Louisiana-Monroe's School of Visual and Performing Arts will host domestic violence workshops at 7:30 p.m. March 10-12 in Spyker Theatre. The workshops are free, though donations benefiting the domestic violence awareness organization V-Day will be accepted.

Each workshop will feature various speakers from ULM and the Monroe community, a performance of Eve Ensler's "Vagina Monologues," and acting and directing students from ULM, who will create live interactive scenarios putting the audience in the middle of several dating/domestic violence situations.

Each workshop will feature different speakers. March 10 will feature Valerie Bowman from the Wellspring Alliance, March 11 will feature Dr. Brian Bramstedt and March 12 will feature Drs. Pamela Saulsberry and Robert Hanser.

The event is open to the public.
