Grace knows no boundaries
As you may or may not know, I do not merely tolerate the NFL, I love it. Thankfully, my husband shares the same sentiment. He is much better at statistics and football trivia, but I can "out-yell-him" any day of the week.
I, like many, was thrilled by the absolutely brilliant Saints' win at the Super Bowl. Very seldom am I speechless, but the win left me mesmerized. Once my mumblings of, "We won ... we really won ..." finally subsided, my first coherent thought was "Now what do we do?"
Outside of sports and a few favorite programs on HGTV, I really don't watch much television. Unfortunately, new ways of redecorating a house left me feeling bored. I then decided it best to gradually wean myself from football, instead of the painful and abrupt halt. As it turned out, the NFL Network aired the Super Bowl every night during the first week after the glorious Saint's victory. I watched it every night and I am proud to announce that the Saints are undefeated in the Super Bowl. We won every single night. For the full column, see Page 5B of this week's Citizen.
