Police jury seeks more money for sewer work
Lazenby & Associates will seek additional funding for a project that would connect West Ouachita Sewer District No. 16 to West Ouachita Sewer District No. 5.
Last year, the state awarded the Ouachita Parish Police Jury $100,000 for the project. The parish will seek another $300,000 for the project this year, according to Kevin Crosby of Lazenby & Associates.
Crosby discussed the matter with the police jury Monday during its regular meeting.
Crosby was given authority by the police jury to make the funding request to the Delta Regional Authority.
