OCS soccer ends terrific season

The magical run through the LHSAA girls soccer playoffs came to an end Friday for the Ouachita Christian School Lady Eagles when they fell to Sacred Heart of New Orleans 7-0 in the semi-final match.

The game was historic for OCS because the Lady Eagles had never won their way this far into the playoffs. OCS went 17-9 this year and was ranked No. 13 in the playoffs this year.

"We played a really challenging early schedule of matches," OCS head coach Bruce Deaton said. "The team really came together and the leadership of our seniors was amazing."
