Police jurors disagree on study
The Ouachita Parish Police Jury could decide next week the fate of a proposal to spend $50,000 on a comprehensive plan to outline future needs of the police jury's two minority districts.
The police jury is scheduled to meet Monday where it may vote on police juror Pat Moore's proposal to pay for a comprehensive study of District D and District F in southern Ouachita.
Moore brought the matter before the police jury at its Feb. 16 meeting.
The police jury discussed the issue for more than an hour but declined to take action on it.
