Teen rally fundraiser breaks world record
posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
More than 400 teens from across north Louisiana gathered recently at Louisiana Tech University for Teen Rally 2010, a program of the Catholic Diocese of Shreveport.

With the theme of "Be Strong — Be Courageous" the participants enjoyed a full day of speakers, music, and worship as they were challenged to be Christian leaders in their respective churches, schools and communities.

As part of the rally, the teens participated in a unique fundraiser to support outreach to the poor through the Saint Vincent de Paul Society.
