The Ouachita Lions and West Monroe Rebels will meet inside the "The Madhouse on Milhaven" at Ouachita on Friday at 7 p.m. in a game to decide the district 2-5A championship and extra power points in the upcoming Class 5A playoff bracket.

Ouachita is the top-seed in the power ranking this week. The Lions are 25-6 on the season, which includes a 61-46 loss to West Monroe last Tuesday night. Ouachita is ranked No.3 in the latest Louisiana Sportswriters Association polls for Class 5A.

Ouachita has had a long, exciting history on the court with their district rivals from West Monroe. Ouachita went 6-2 against the Rebels last season including beating the Rebels in the 5A semi-finals on the way to their first basketball state championship in school history last March.
