Two area soccer teams record historic wins
by Cody Futrell - posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
Area soccer teams are nearing championship gold and two area girls teams, Ouachita Christian School and West Monroe, have been dominate.

West Monroe ended their season Monday with a 2-0 quarterfinal loss to Fontainebleau.
The loss was disappointing but did not take away from the fact that head coach Trey Long lead the Lady Rebels to their best season in program history.

West Monroe won the district championship and beat Natchitoches Central 3-0 and Byrd 1-0 to advance to their first ever quarterfinal match.
