Love tabbed co-player of year
University of Louisiana-Monroe junior outfielder Brianna Love was chosen as the Sun Belt Conference Softball Preseason Co-Player of the Year on Tuesday, as announced by the league office. The Warhawks were chosen to finish eighth, as voted on by the league's nine coaches.
Love had an impressive sophomore season a year ago, as she led the Warhawks in nearly every offensive statistical category, including batting average (.378), home runs (8), RBI (26), and stolen bases (15). With her efforts last season she was named to the all-Sun Belt, all-Louisiana, and Louisville Slugger/NFCA all-region teams.
