Dianne Cage talks about people, places, politics

Can you believe January is over? Dear, dear, what can the matter be, I guess we are just getting older, but that is good. I love every year. I can not think of one year that I would want to go back to and I have been blessed with lots of them. I look forward to every day, a new adventure. I think the main thing is to feel as good as you can, eat right, get lots of exercise and practice the golden rule. One thing I love about this life, if you mess up, you can always start over. God is great!

Sunday morning is one of my favorites! Sleep a little late, lots of good hot coffee, the papers and Sunday Morning on CBS. We love Bob Schieffer. He closed his show one Sunday with "Lessons from man's best friend." What we would learn if dogs were our teachers:

• Always run to greet your loved ones when they come home.
See who and what Dianne Cage is talking about this week — and what she is cooking up in the kitchen — on Page 9A of this week's Citizen.
