Philippine-American group plans picnic
The Philippine-American Association of Northeast Louisiana presents "Lovers' Picnic at Kiroli Park" for Valentine's Day. The event will be from noon-3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 14, at the Kiroli Park Pavilion Gazebo.
Bring one dish, one dessert and one bottle of something to drink. The family event is open to the public. Pay only park's admission.
With inclement weather, the event will be held at Frances Tower Dining Hall, 300 Harrison St., Monroe. Park in front of St. Matthew's Catholic Church.
