River Oaks tied for district lead
The River Oaks Mustangs (17-3, 4-1) will play their regular-season finale, a playoff tie-breaker, at Glenbrook Friday to determine the district championship race. They'll travel to the MAIS 2A South State tournament in Brookhaven, Miss. on Tuesday.
River Oaks is led this season by Junior Vincent Moore. Moore averages 14 points and 12 rebounds per game and is a three-year starter. Moore is good for seven assists per game this season.
Martez Sellars, a transfer from Wossman, is averaging 20 points and four assists per game.
Sellars transferred to play his senior season at River Oaks after the LHSAA ruled him ineligible at Wossman.
