The Ouachita Parish Police Jury should pursue federal funding for three infrastructure projects in 2010, according to parish engineer Tom Holtzclaw.

Holtzclaw disclosed the three projects Monday at the police jury's regular meeting. The police jury has until March 1 to submit a list of projects it would like the Congress to fund in the coming year.

The three projects Holtzclaw recommended that the police jury should pursue federal funding for included the Interstate 20 frontage road in western Ouachita; east Ouachita comprehensive sewerage plan; and the Sparta Aquifer water management plan.
