The Richwood Rams will host the Madison Parish Jaguars on Friday night as part of a doubleheader which the Lady Rams start at 6 p.m.

Richwood is coming off a 56-42 victory at home against the Caldwell Parish Spartans on Tuesday. The game was hotly contested until Richwood used a 16-2 run over the first six minutes of the fourth quarter to take the district victory. The game began with a lot of back-and-forth action as neither team could put a big run together. LaDon Carter, who scored 16 points to lead Richwood, electrified the crowd with a two-handed jam just before the buzzer. The basket gave the Rams a 13-12 advantage going into the second quarter.

As Richwood continues to improve throughout the season, coaches are seeing the team mature right before their eyes.
